Security Training for Port Facility Personnel with Security Duty

The minimum of training for Personnel with Dedicated Security Duty on port facility (not being a PFSO) is provided by the table n°2 of the International Maritime Organization Maritime Security Circular n°1341 from 2010.

Manannan has created for Port Facility Security Personnels a complete training course of 5 weeks called “Port Security and Safety Certified Guard” (PS2CG) that includes security officer training, fire fighting first responder and first aid qualifications, as well as the ISPS code training. This already complete course can also be reinforced by additionnal trainings specific to the facility activities.
